I have an xy brand lighter. Can you repair this?

Basically yes. In general, we repair lighters of all brands, all types and all ages. However, we can only give a binding promise of repairs once we have received the model.

How much does it cost to repair my lighter?

The calculation of the repair prices depends on the time required and the spare parts used. The following is a non-binding orientation:

  • Standard lighters: from €25 to €50

  • Lighters from the 80s and older: €35 to €55

  • Premium lighters: from €75 to €160

The prices can differ significantly in individual cases.

Can I order spare parts for my lighter from you?

No, we do not sell spare parts. We only carry out professional repairs.

I still have warranty on my lighter. Do you do a free repair?

We grant a six-month guarantee on our repaired and invoiced lighters (unless otherwise stated). Within this time we will improve the repair free of charge. Exception: There is a new defect or the defect was caused by you (e.g. fall, candle wax, dirt...). For lighters with a "new purchase" guarantee, please only contact the dealer from whom you bought it.

Can I wait for the repair if I come by in person?

No, we process all orders in sequence. New repairs are sorted at the end.

How and where can I hand in my lighter for repairs?

Send us your defective item directly or alternatively visit a local dealer. If there is no dealer in your area, fill out our repair order. Place this in a padded mailer or small box with the item and send the repair to:

Pipe & Lighter Center

Dorfstrasse 6

21521 Dassendorf

Germany

My lighter does not work after the repair.

You will receive your lighter back without gas or petrol, as highly flammable fuels cannot be sent with Deutsche Post or DHL. Do not adjust anything on the lighter! Please fill first and wait a few minutes. Then the lighter is ready for use.

I can't get gas in the lighter. What can I do?

Some filling valves require a special adapter. Various adapters can usually be found in the cap of the gas ampule. We are happy to include a suitable adapter with the return of a repair.
