I have a defective item. What should I do?

Send us your defective item directly or alternatively visit a local dealer.

How long does it take to get a repair back?

As a rule, the processing time is about 3 weeks. However, during holiday periods, in the event of unusually high repair receipts or other unforeseeable events (e.g. sick days), significantly longer processing times may occur.


Do you also prepare cost estimates (KVA)? If so, does this cost anything?

Yes, of course we also prepare cost estimates for you. You will receive this after a few days by e-mail or telephone. We only calculate the cost estimate if you would like to have the item returned unrepaired. We charge up to €9.00 (plus postage) for processing.

How do I pay for the repair?

The following three payment options are available to you:

The standard is advance payment: After the repair has been completed, you will receive a proforma invoice with all the information for a SEPA transfer.


Optional SEPA direct debit: You give us a one-time permission to collect the invoice amount from your account. To do this, you must also fill out this form.



Optional PayPal: If you would like to pay with the PayPal payment service, please let us know when you send in the repair.

Can I order spare parts from you?

No, we do not sell spare parts. We only carry out professional repairs.

How can I send in my item for repair?

Send us your defective item directly or alternatively visit a local dealer. If there is no dealer in your area, fill out our repair order. Place this in a padded mailer or small box with the item and send the repair to:

Can I wait for the repair if I come by in person?

No, we process all orders in sequence. New repairs are sorted at the end.

Do you also carry out repairs if I live outside of Germany?

Yes, within the EU this is not a problem at all. However, for customers outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland, Great Britain, USA, etc.) it becomes considerably more difficult. Due to the foreign payment and/or customs regulations, you will incur considerable additional costs.

Do you also provide an expert opinion?

Yes, we do! Often premium lighters are sold very cheaply on the internet, but they are fakes. We will be happy to provide you with an expert opinion on the authenticity or value of a lighter (20 - 25 euros).

For very urgent repairs, we also offer an EXPRESS service.

With this extra service, repairs are carried out within 3 working days (Mon-Fri).

A fee of € 9.90 is charged for each EXPRESS repair in addition to the regular repair price.

The number of EXPRESS repairs is limited to a maximum of three.

Please note "BRANDEILIG" on the outside of the shipping box so that we can identify the shipment as particularly urgent on the day of receipt.
